Meet Dr. Wendell Perry
Dr. Perry is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He received his undergraduate degree from Howard University, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University. He completed his general internship and residency at Howard University Hospital. He then went on to serve as an instructor in the department of surgery. Following completion of his general surgery training, Dr. Perry then went to the University of Southern California where he completed a burn fellowship. His responsibilities included running a burn service, running a burn intensive care unit, and acute burn surgery.
Following completion of his burn fellowship, Dr. Perry completed his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Perry has been a practicing plastic and reconstructive surgeon for over 20 years, and is a leading plastic surgeon in Alexandria, VA. I just want the best, safest results

Air sculpting is a reciprocating handpiece that does some of the work for you as opposed to traditional liposuction. This is similar to the common micro air machine. I don't think it's really the machine that determines a result. The machine does do more undermining rapidly and undermining is a part of making the skin contract. This can be done with traditional liposuction also with just more work. So I think the reality is it's a work in, work out kind of situation. The more effort you put into the liposuction more detailed you are better the results can be. The key to good results with liposuction is making sure you leave an even layer fat and human affect the skin well enough to make the skin contract. I use a handpiece that is similar to the air sculpt which is euromi but I don't think the handpiece determines how good the result will be. If you look on my website and go to the video section there is a video labeled liposuction's about the skin that goes over these ideas.

Fat transferred to the buttocks is the best way to improve scars from the injection of medication are vaccinations. In my experience you can get a 70 to 80% improvement but not perfect.

The price for fat injections of the breasts ranges between $7300 and $11,800 depending on how long the procedure will take. The advantage of fat injection to the breast is that it's your own tissue and once it’s healed it will be in place forever there is no lifespan like an implant. The disadvantage is that you can only increase the breast size by one cup size.

You can shorten the nipples. Just take a ring of tissue off at the base and then sew the top down to shorten the projection. It was a skyscraper you just take off the bottom 10 floors to lower the skyscraper

It is way too early to revise a surgery. A second surgery to soon could lead to infection and other complications. Look at a lot of before and after photos and make sure you see a before that looks like you and an after look that you like. Getting more than one opinion might be a good idea.

The answer is liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks. You can do a masculine fat transfer.

Liposuction and skin excision are both needed to get the best result after weight loss procedures. Some times you need to do one procedure first and come back later with the other procedure. Here is an example of a patient who had a body lift first and a liposuction a year later.
Could being on my period on the surgery date cause complications?

What your doctor said is true about blood clots but anemia before surgery is also unsafe. You have to discuss these issues with your gynecologist and your plastic surgeon. The risk versus benefit will have to be evaluated.
I had a seizure as an infant. Could rhinoplasty & anesthesia put me at risk for another one?

General anesthesia usually represses the chance of seizures. You must be evaluated by your physician to make sure the surgery is safe but in general people with the seizure history can have general anesthesia.
did my surgeon do anything?

In my rhinoplasty patients, it takes 2 to 3 months for me to really see the real results. At two weeks I don't think you can really tell what the dorsal really looks like. You cannot do any revision early after surgery anyway so the best thing to do is just to wait it out and know you look good, so don't worry.

Fat transfer the cheeks and lower lids would be the procedure to fill the face and give the look that you had before. The most important part of this is your weight. You need to be at a stable weight when you do the fat transfer because if you gain weight after the fat transfer the cheeks might be too big because when you increase the number of fat cells that area you will store more calories in that area. If you've lost weight try to see if you can get back to the weight where you like your look and see if that solves a problem.

The key to body contouring after weight loss surgery is skin excision and liposuction. When you excises skin and tighten the remaining skin you improved the look of the skin because it's tighter. The liposuction part of the surgery has the benefit attacking the thick problem areas of fat and leaving smooth even levels of fat with significant skin contraction. What I try to do is maximize the liposuction to decrease the amount of the skin excision and scarring. Theoretically if I can make the skin contract 50% that I can make the scars 50% less. The other thing to consider is a tummy tuck changes the length of the skin but doesn't make the diameter of the skin decrease to the diameter of the body. Liposuction can make the skin shrink-wrapped the body allowing the true shape to show.

Perfection liposuction is leaving the same thickness of fat everywhere in the body. That is perfection. Taking all the fat cells from one place is not perfection because the calories will just go someplace else. If you can leave the same thickness of fat from head to toe when you gain a pound will gain it from head to toe. the second thing you have to do is make the skin contract. If the skin doesn't contract every time you do a liposuction move volume the skin would be loose. 130 pound patient cannot possibly have 5L of fat to remove

Fat transferred to the buttocks is a common procedure. creating a curvy figure with the liposuction fat transfer is a good procedure. the liposuction creates a small waist in the fat transfer to the hips and buttocks create a curvy figure.

Yes, liposuction to the breast and to the buttocks are becoming very popular procedures. What this really does is change where your body stores calories. You are really moving your storage compartment from the love handles to the buttocks or the breast. So now instead of the love handles be the first place to store fat the fat is stored first in the breast or the buttocks.
Growth deformity caused by full leg cast on right side?

Liposuction and fat transfer can be a solution for trauma induced deformities. I've had good success with using fat transfer into areas of tissue loss due to trauma. I have corrected seatbelt injuries which are the would be a similar injury to what you had. After the fat transfer I created a splint to make the transferred fat heel to the correct shape and it worked better than I could've hoped.
Have Implants, Can I have a lift and keep my implants

Yes you can do a lift with the existing implant. The cost of the lift depends on what needs to be done if the nipple doesn't need to be moved up the surgery could be very simple and much cheaper. If the nipple needs to be raised the surgery becomes more involved and more expensive.
