Steve J. Sample, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. ASPS members operate only in accredited medical facilities, adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill continuing medical education requirements in plastic surgery, including training in patient safety techniques. As a patient of Dr. Steve Sample, you will receive the highest standard of patient care, surgical excellence and staff competence. Before your surgery, you will be provided with all the information you will need to be comfortable in deciding if plastic surgery is right for you. The accredited surgical facility provides a setting of unparalleled comfort and, most importantly, privacy for elective cosmetic procedures as well as reconstructive surgeries. Following the surgery, Dr. Sample and his staff are committed to you long after you are healed and recovered.
Your Consultation
At Sample Plastic Surgery, the consultation process is an opportunity to connect with our patients to learn about their goals and health history.By the end of the consultation, we will determine with the patient whether a cosmetic procedure is right for them, and whether they feel comfortable and secure enough to make a final decision.Your appointment will be with Dr. Sample, and can last up to an hour or more.We want to spend as much time with you as you need in order to education you on your options, answering your questions and discussing benefits and risks of surgery.Our goal is to have you feel that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision in a low pressure atmosphere.Follow-up consultations are always welcome, as we want to ensure our patients are comfortable and confident about their decision.

Dr. Sample's state-of-the-art facility, located 30 minutes away from downtown Chicago, offers patients outstanding comfort, convenience and privacy to ensure a superior experience. Dr. Sample's office is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). Patients experience the safe and comfortable and maybe more so than in some hospitals because of the personal attention. The facility offers comfortable consultation rooms, superior procedure rooms and an on-site medical spa to treat skin care needs.
