Dr. John Connors, a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, brings a wealth of experience to Plastic Surgery Group of Atlanta. Dr. Connors combines advanced surgical techniques with an artistic eye to deliver exceptional results for his patients, all while consistently creating a welcoming environment for each.
Dr. Connors has undergone years of intensive training at some of the country’s most prestigious institutions. After completing his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, he received his medical degree from Georgetown University and underwent a seven-year residency at Dartmouth College School of Medicine. From there, Dr. Connors refined his expertise in an Advanced Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Harvard Medical School.
His certification with both the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) underscores his commitment to the highest standards of medical excellence. Dr. Connors is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Aesthetic Society®, and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, among numerous other organizations. His various accolades include the Castle Connolly® “Top Doctor” Award; Atlanta Magazine’s “Top Doctor” recognition; and a Top Plastic Surgeon recognition in various categories in Newsweek Magazine. In addition, Dr. Connors and his partner, Dr. Alexandra Hart, were named Top Breast Surgeons in Atlanta by The Atlantan.
