Meet Dr. Joseph Mele
A private practice Plastic Surgeon in Walnut Creek, CA, since 1997, Dr. Mele centers his approach to care around customized treatment plans and genuine attentiveness to each of his patients’ needs and concerns. Dr. Mele believes that honest, forthright communication and a compassionate bedside manner combined with a genuine commitment to providing the safest, most effective treatment possible can ultimately lead to the most satisfactory cosmetic outcomes.
Raisedin the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Mele earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California-Davis and his medical degree from the UC-Davis School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of California-Davis in Sacramento and San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, followed by a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. Dr. Mele is a double-board certified surgeon, with general surgery certification from the American Board of Surgery and plastic surgery certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds active membership in many of the most respected medical organizations in the world.
