Dr. Hart is an alumna of the University of Georgia and Emory University; she earned her medical degree and completed a residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the latter. Also while at Emory, Dr. Hart received the highest in-service examination score among residents and served as Administrative Chief Resident of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition, she was awarded the Glen Family Research Pilot Grant for her breast cancer research, and was a two-time recipient of the Award for Most Resident Research Activities.

Dr. Hart is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Aesthetic Society®, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. She also participates actively in the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons as a member of multiple committees, including the Candidate Committee Chair for New Member Development; in this position, she developed a review course for the American Board of Plastic Surgery’s board examination. Her accolades include the Castle Connolly® “Top Doctor” award and Atlanta Magazine’s “Top Doctor” recognition. Along with Dr. John Connors, she was named a Top Breast Surgeon in Atlanta by The Atlantan.

Cosmetic and reconstructive procedures performed at Dr. Hart’s practice include facial fat transfer, breast reconstruction revision, tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty), and beyond. Plastic Surgery Group of Atlanta also offers a number of non-surgical options, such as Avéli™ cellulite reduction and a variety of injectable treatments. Further, she has made significant contributions to research in the realm of post-breast cancer quality of life, weight loss after breast reduction, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols, and other advanced topics.
