Alexander H. Slocum, MD PhD is Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, and was recently named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. As en elected member of both ASPS and The Aesthetic Society (ASAPS), he operates only in accredited medical facilities and adheres to a strict code of ethics. Dr. Slocum is a skilled young surgeon with a warm, welcoming demeanor and shrewd attention to detail who works closely with each patient to understand their goals.

Facilities
Dr. Slocum holds privileges at multiple surgical facilities on the NH Seacoast, including Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Outpatient surgeries are performed at either Portsmouth Regional Ambulatory Surgery Center, or Atlantic Coast Surgical Suites. Depending on each patient's preferences (and insurance approvals, if needed), we will work to get your procedure scheduled as efficiently as possible.
Also, every surgical facility is different with unique pre-op forms and policies which can be overwhelming; if these are not completed in a timely manner, this can delay surgery. Dr. Slocum and his staff have put in the leg work for our patients ahead of time by carefully developing and implementing automated systems tailored to each location to help streamline the process of getting each patient's procedure scheduled, and minimize time spent filling out redundant (but necessary) paperwork!
