Dr. Robert J. Spies is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 35 years of experience in the greater Phoenix and Scottsdale area. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures such as facelifts, breast augmentations, tummy tucks, and mommy makeovers in Scottsdale.
Dr. Spies earned his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by a five-year general surgery residency at Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency and a two-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. Spies has been recognized as a 'Top Doc' in Arizona Plastic Surgery by Phoenix Magazine, which highlights the Valley’s best physicians as voted by their peers.

His surgical skills, expertise, and passion for teaching have left a lasting impression on his students.

You are an impressive surgeon with skills of an artist. You nip and tick a little here and there or in my case a large amount and make us beautiful. The surgery was painless as possible and I’m healing well. Your staff has been professional and helpful. I’ll have lots of years left to play “red light green light” red rover and mother may I with my grandchildren without that extra skin flopping and becoming uncomfortable…lost of winking to be done with the extra skin you removed from my eyelids, my eye’s feel so light, I hope this makes sense.
