Meet Dr. Christopher Funderburk
I am Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. From my small-town roots to Ivy League plastic surgery training, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice.
I started my medical journey at Emory University in Atlanta, where I completed both medical school and General Surgery training. I was then accepted to the prestigious Plastic Surgery training program at Dartmouth and have also completed the world-renown Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City.
I am not only completely trained in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetic Surgery, but also personally trained in liposculpting by Dr. Ryan Neinstein. I have produced dozens of research conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications. I also actively participate in teaching plastic surgery fellows at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC.
I am a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). This certification encompasses the entire spectrum of plastic surgery and is the highest level of certification for American plastic surgeons. The ABPS works to promote safe, ethical and efficacious plastic surgery and works to ensure the highest standards of quality care for every patent.
I have been thoroughly trained in Vaser liposuction, plasma skin tightening and Microaire power-assisted liposuction. My goal is to provide each patient’s best outcome through a thoughtful approach designed to give safe and effective results.
