About

Meet Dr. Charles Galanis

Dr. Charles Galanis, M.D., a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, graduated from the University of Wisconsin. Serving as class president, he earned induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. 
Following medical school, he completed a general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, renowned as the top hospital in the nation for 21 consecutive years. Awarded a research grant from the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Galanis conducted clinical research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Recognized as Resident Teacher of the Year at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Galanis continued his journey at UCLA, excelling in plastic and reconstructive surgery. His diverse training spanned Beverly Hills cosmetic practices, county hospitals, and UCLA Medical Center. 
He had Microsurgery Fellowship and Clinical Instructor role at UCLA. With over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, he remains at the forefront of plastic surgery expertise.
