Crepey Neck

Facelift

Member Response:

A definitive chin, jawline and smooth neck are the natural goals of a face/ neck Z-lift. Most patients get substantial improvement with the one procedure. A pee or LASER treattments can help tighten crepey skin. Proper skin care can help keep it that way- smooth. See aboard certified Aesthetic plastic surgeon. Good luck...

Female Hairline

Hair Transplant

Member Response:

Having a high hairline in women is not uncommon.. Some women wear bangs, a hat or hairband. An anterior hairline advancement procedure can bring an inch or two of hair bearing skin forward. Tissue expanders can be used to increase the hair bearing skin as well. Hair grafting from the posterior scalp to the anterior non hair bearing area can augment the hair crop in the front. I have done this procedure on a young woman and many older women with brow ptosis and a receding hairline( brow lift). I have several men whose before and after photos(hair replacement) are on the plastic surgery website that have had the advancement procedure. Cost can be under 10000.00. Good luck

Heel pad reconstruction

General Reconstruction

Member Response:

If there is some heel it maybe able to expand the skin you have to extend it to the area of loss. Partial donation from your other foot as a a cross foot flap could solve the issue as well. Get special shoes is another answer to off load pressure on the thin skin. Orthotic shoes. Good luck.

How do fat cells really work?

Liposuction

Member Response:

That is true each fat cell has an unlimited quantity of fat it can hold. Liposuction or liposculpture can eliminate unwanted fat cells that form layers just beneath your skin, It cannot remove internal omental fat or fat that deposits in your liver. See a board certified plastic surgeon who will evaluate your medical condition to determine if liposuction is a safe option for you. Good luck...

Frowning bellybutton

Liposuction

Member Response:

Liposuction would help the excess adipose tissue in the area. Ultrasonic liposuction may help tighten the skin more than conventional or LASER liposuction. Good luck....

Is it too late

Burn Reconstruction

Member Response:

iT IS NOT TO LATE. I have worked extensively with burn reconstruction to effect a cosmetic improvement. This is usually not covered by insurance. I volunteer in India treating some horrific burns with definitive improvements. Tissue expansion can help build additional normal skin that can be used to replace burned deformed skin. Good luck and don't give up...

Panniculectomy

Member Response:

Looks like you have excessive skin and fat covering your penis. The skin and fat can be removed with a delicate surgical procedure. Good luck..

Rhinoplasty revision

Rhinoplasty

Member Response:

Revision rhinoplasty is a delicate procedure in a rough terrain. Once a nose is operated on, a second procedure is much more difficult. Vector 3 dimensional imaging may help communicate what can be achieved. It is very important she have realistic goals. Psychiatric care is sometimes more important then plastic surgery. Have her see a qualified psychologist and or psychiatrist. See a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon with a Vectra machine. Good luck.

Congenital Symmastia / breast reduction

Breast Reduction

Member Response:

You have severe breast hypertrophy and symmastia. The central area of your sternum adipose tissue will need to be removed with liposuction. I usually use liposuction to help get best possible results with my breast reduction procedures. The breast reduction can be helped with suction assisted lipectomy. It looks like you would benefit from a 50% reduction of your breasts. See a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon in consultation with symmastia experience. Good luck and stay safe.

Face lift

Cosmetic Surgery

Member Response:

You have the right idea. Tweaking your result can improve it. I recently performed thread lift and lip lift for a dissatisfied facelift patient from another surgeon. Computerized 3 dimensional imaging may help visualize proposed results. see an experienced ASAPS board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck and stay safe...

Can this be fixed.

Neck Lift

Member Response:

If you are not satisfied with your results, see your plastic surgeon and determine if he can offer any procedure to improve it. Necks can be tricky. If fat was removed by liposuction or directly, platysmal neck muscle bands may be more visible. There are minimally invasive procedures to enhance a neck. Sometimes swelling postoperative causes skin stretch that may be rectified with a secondary procedure. See a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon for another opinion if you are not happy. Good luck and stay safe...

Diastatis recti

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

Sounds like the diastasic rectus failed or was not adequately addressed in your first procedure. A hernia may be present. A reverse abdominoplasty may address your extra skin and gain access to your abdomen for a flatter better looking tummy. Best to see an experienced plastic surgeon. I perform procedures and Morristown Medical center, which is one of the cleanest and safest facilities I am familiar with.

Can a Plastic Surgeon do a combined Ventral fat hernia repair with a Tummy tuck?

Tummy Tuck

Member Response:

Ventral hernias are often severe diastasis rectus. The fascia between the rectus muscles can become very thin with weight gain and or pregnancy. Repairing a ventral hernia and reconstruction of the abdominal wall is well within the skill set of most board certified real plastic surgeons. Incarcerated bowel in an inguinal hernia is more the provence of a general surgeon. See a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation. Good luck...

How popular and do-able is Temporalis Muscle Surgical reduction

Cosmetic Surgery

Member Response:

Temporalis muscle reduction can be achieved with neurotoxin injections. It is worthwhile trying this first before resection of your muscle. ACT or MRI may help us determine exactly what is causing your temporal bulges. See a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon in consultation. I have done cadaveric disection and resection [removal} of migraine causing muscles. Good luck...

Fat and unshapely legs

Liposuction

Member Response:

You have cankles or fatty ankles that are amenable to liposuction improvement. On my website docweinstein there are examples of this in my before and after gallery. Thigh liposuction with ultrasonic liposuction can help shrink your sexcess skin with minimal incisions. I would recomend that first. Congratulations on losing your excess pounds, keep it up, keep walking and exercizing.. Stay healthy and avoid risky behavior. Good luck...

Breast lift after breast reduction?

Breast Lift

Member Response:

Sagging breasts are a common problem. A breast reduction is done for larger then acceptable breasts. Skin stretch is common when gaining weight and the breasts can sag after losing weight. Menstruation hormonal influences can also cause swelling of the breasts and the breasts become less swollen they sag. Breasts can be lifted with a mastopexy. Breast lift is not as difficult a recovery as a breast reduction. See a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon in consultation Good luck...

Fractured nose

Rhinoplasty

Member Response:

A fractured nose 1 year ago would require an open reduction, probable packing and a splint. Insurance should cover straightening a nose from an injury. It does not cover removal of a dorsal hump or tip work. You can schedule a virtual Telemedicine consultation and arrange an in person consultation in the coming weeks.

At the end of my tether now

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

Free augmentation is not possible. Reasonable cost is possible. Most people in the US are able to afford the procedure if they hold a steady job. With operating room and anesthesia fees in can run as little as 6500.00. Private facilities have more elbow room. Good luck...

Itching 10 years After Breast Lift

You are not alone. Silicone sheeting if left on the areola can calm it down. Diphenhydramine cream or Calmine lotion will stop the itch. Do not scratch it or rub it. Good luck...Stay Safe...

Facial Mole Removal on the Nose - Flat Mole

Cosmetic Surgery

Member Response:

It looks like you have a benign Nevus (mole) on your nose. Excision is a relatively straight forward procedure. I do it under local anesthesia in my private surgical facility. After excision of the mole I would close the defect with fine nonreactive sutures with the help of magnifying loupes to help ensure the best possible outcome. See a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation. Thank you for your question. Stay safe and good luck...
