Today, there's a more transparent dialogue around cosmetic procedures, emphasizing their core values: healing, self-actualization and elevating quality of life through an emphasis on patient safety, evidence-based practice and efficacy.

These years have further shown how adaptive and innovative ASPS Member Surgeons can be, navigating challenges and constantly evolving to meet the diverse needs of their patients. Methodology

Methodology

The annual questionnaire was distributed to more than 24,600 ABMS board-certified physicians. 1,151 active physicians were included in the final sample.

Interpretation

To give the data added breadth and to provide a more comprehensive report, where indicated, ASPS combined survey responses with procedural data from CosmetAssure and PatientNow.

Validity

The results of the survey are based on a 95 percent confidence level with a ±4.42 percent margin of error.

For 2022, the Society used data from member surgeons and from two affiliated companies, CosmetAssure and PatientNow. Combined, these sources give the data added breadth and depth to provide a more comprehensive report, strengthening credibility as a resource for doctors, patients, researchers and the media.
