This young woman is shown 3 weeks after a Rhinoplasty – she wanted a slight reduction in her dorsal hump and subtle nasal tip refinement. Significant cartilage grafting was performed to maintain its appearance long term… Approximately 85% of the swelling has gone down at this point, and the remainder may take up to a year… Please note an immediate intraoperative pic is also shown -- I try to provide patients an immediate postoperative photo for them to get an idea of what their nose will look like once the swelling has subsided, which as mentioned, may take up to a year… My overall goal is to create a customized yet natural result that maintains harmony and symmetry with the rest of the face.
