This 75-year-old woman had an accident to the right side of her face in the remote past. As a result, there is a long scar across the cheek and weakness on the right side of the face. There has been substantial degree of recovery of the facial nerve function. She underwent face lift and SMAS plication. Postoperative recovery was uncomplicated.
