Breast Reconstruction | Case Details
Patient underwent immediate stage 1 breast reconstruction following prophylactic bilateral nipple sparing mastectomies. She has a strong family history of breast cancer and was BRCA testing positive. She had stage 1 reconstruction with placement of 375cc tissue expanders and 16x20 cm AlloDerm slings in each breast. Three months later, stage 2 bilateral breast reconstruction was performed, which included the removal of tissue expanders, placement of 375cc high-profile permanent gel implants, and fat grafting to the superior and medial breasts.
