Breast Augmentation | Case Details
A woman in her 30s is shown 6 weeks after a breast augmentation. Her preoperative photograph highlights her breast asymmetry with her left breast more droopy and lower than her right breast. Her breast asymmetry was corrected utilizing dual plane breast augmentation with implants placed under the muscle. The goals of breast augmentation are to achieve a softer, fuller, naturally flattering breast contour, to turn around the negative effects of pregnancy, weight loss, or aging on breast shape, to improve breast asymmetry ( as in this patient), to repair the disappointing effects of prior surgeries, and to enhancing self-esteem and confidence.
