22 year old underwent Rhinoplasty surgery to lower the hump on her nose, and straighten the top. On front (portrait) view, she wanted the large and distinct tip of her nose smaller, more aesthetically balanced, and in proportion with her features. She wanted to maintain her ethnicity, and to have a natural rhinoplasty result that didn't appear surgical or artificial. Post operative photos taken three months after surgery. She's still slightly swollen in "after" photos. Swelling after rhinoplasty resolves over many months, and the forces of contracture develop over months to over one year following nose surgery. These phenomena associated with healing unfold over many months to even years, and influence the final outcome of every rhinoplasty procedure.
