This woman wanted improved lip appearance. She was not interested in injectable fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane. During her consultation our Plastic Surgeon suggested shortening the distance between the nose and upper lip vermilion -- lip lift. This is showing the improved lip appearance, with a nearly invisible scar hidden under the nostrils. The vermilion border has rotated up and the vermilion shows more. The procedure was performed as part of other facial rejuvenation surgery, but can be done by itself, possibly under local anesthesia.
