Dermal Bra-Suspension Breast Lift and Breast Reduction This patient in her fifties presented to The Aesthetic Centers for a breast lift and reduction. The patient wished to have smaller and lifted breasts. During a 4-1/2 hour surgery, the patient underwent a breast reduction and a specialized type of breast lift, known as the dermal bra suspension breast lift. This comprehensive breast lift was pioneered by Dr. Rubin and Dr. Agha in 2005 and utilizes the lower breast skin to create an internal bra with it. The internal bra, aka the dermal bra, acts like a bra to keep breast tissues at a higher position and to maintain the created breast perkiness. Post-op pictures were taken at 4 years after the dermal bra suspension breast lift. You can see years later, the patient's scars have almost faded but her breast fullness and lift has lasted well.
