Occasionally liposuction can result in significant contour irregularities if faulty surgical techniques are used. This patient had the initial surgery performed by another surgeon. Excessive fat was removed in the outer thighs, lower buttock-upper thigh junction, and midsection of the inner thighs. She was treated with corrective liposuction and fat grafting from her own body. During the first session, 480 c.c. of fat was removed and 420 c.c. was injected into the various sites. During the second session, 560 c.c. of her own fat was injected for further improvement. The results at 38 months following the first corrective procedure shows improvement in the inner, outer thighs, knees, and the lower buttock-thigh junction.
