Facelift | Case Details
This patient had changes in the facial skin in part due to her extensive exposure to the sun in the past.
She underwent two layered face lift. A thoroughly performed SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) flap was raised to suspend the deep layer soft tissue of the cheek and the jaw area in addition to the skin lift.
Improvement of the neck was accomplished through skin reduction, modification and suspension of the neck muscle layer. An incision under the chin was used for the neck lift.
She also had lower eyelid surgery and circumoral dermabrasion.
