Breast Implant Revision | Case Details
This patient came to see me after having had multiple breast augmentation surgeries and frequent revisions to address capsular contracture and aesthetic outcomes. After discussing options and preferences, her treatment plan ultimately consisted on removing and replacing her implants, a capsulectomy, lift, and insertion of Strattice. Strattice, a biological mesh, was used to act as a scaffold for her new implants by reinforcing her thin skin. The implants removed were Mentor smooth, round Ultra high projecting 535-mL. I replaced them with Allergan Inspira SofTouch full projecting breast implants smooth, round implant. A 415 cc implant was used on the right and a 365cc implant was used on the left. She is seen in these photos before and 4 months after surgery.
