This 29 year old patient had breast augmentation with another surgeon and came to our office after she had developed a right capsular contracture with superior displacement of the implant and a very loose capsule with medial traction rippling and a displaced implant that fell laterally on the left side. During her consultation we reviewed the options of repair of the capsule and release of the capsules alone or with the use of Strattice to provide structural support and decrease the risk of capsular contracture recurrence and the patient desired the insertion of the Strattice.
