Arm Lift | Case Details
3 years after lap band surgery and a 90 pound weight loss, this 41 year old patient came in for a brachioplasty consultation, stating she was "ready to say good-bye" to her "bye-bye arms". As many post-weight loss patients can relate, the lax skin that hung from her arms distorted the appearance of her newly fit body. During her surgery, 531 grams of skin were excised from her right upper arm and 575 grams were removed from the left. As seen in her photos, she has scarring along her incisions but reports it was well worth the tradeoff. In addition to an improved appearance, she reports increased comfort while working out and loves having the ability to fit into and wear a greater variety of tops, many of which hide her scars which continue to fade with time.
