Breast Augmentation | Case Details
This 23 year old patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Breast Augmentation. The patient was a size A/B but wished to be a full C. Upon examination, the patient’s breasts were relatively symmetrical, but her right breast was 25-30 ccs larger than her left breast. The patient selected 450 cc saline implants and specifically requested a Transumbilical Breast Augmentation, also known as a TUBA Breast Augmentation. So, Dr. Agha began the procedure by creating a small incision inside of the patient’s belly button. Through this incision, he then created a tunnel under the abdominal skin and into each breast. Then, he used specialized surgical instruments to create a pocket for each breast implant through the tunnel. Then, saline implants were rolled up tightly, and passed through the tunnel and into the breast pockets. The saline implants were then filled with the desired amount of saline. The left implant was filled to 450 ccs and the right implant was filled to 420 ccs. Both implants were smooth, round, high profile saline implants. After her procedure, the patient had the full, round breasts that she desired, and a very tiny incision in her belly button which was almost completely undetectable. The patient’s Transumbilical Breast Augmentation before and after photos were taken 5 months after her procedure and she was extremely happy with her results.
