Facelift | Case Details
This patient wished to improve the appearance of her face, neck, eyelids, and forehead. Several Botox injections only provided temporary reduction of the wrinkles between the brows and in the forehead. She desired a more permanent improvement.
She underwent two layered face lift. A thoroughly performed SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) flap was raised to suspend the deep layer soft tissue of the cheek and the jaw area in addition to the skin lift.
Improvement of the neck was accomplished through skin reduction and modification and suspension of the neck muscle layer. An incision under the chin was used for the neck lift.
Endoscopic forehead lift was performed through several short incisions hidden in the scalp.
She also had upper and lower eyelid surgery and dermabrasion around the mouth during the same operative session.
