New Tool for Plastic Surgeons Receives Endorsement From American Society of Plastic Surgeons
NewLookNow offers patients a glimpse of their enhanced appearance.

Members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) now have a new tool to help educate potential patients through a post-aesthetic surgery simulation. With the introduction of NewLookNow, one of only a few select products/services to be endorsed by ASPS, consumers simply snap a "selfie" of the area they would like to enhance, submit it confidentially to the NewLookNow secure platform, and within a short period of time receive simulation photo of post-procedure results.

"While in-office hardware technology has existed for years allowing prospective patients to visualize how they might appear post-surgery, never before has it been available for use by patients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes," said Devon Niccole, founder of NewLookNow and CEO of CosmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center and Medspa in Newport Beach, California. "Allowing them to use our secure site offers a level of convenience and confidentiality never before available."

"ASPS continues to focus on the needs of our member surgeons by seeking new tools and resources," said ASPS President, Scot Glasberg, MD. "Especially with the cosmetic side of plastic surgery being consumer-facing, it is very important to find the right tools that help educate the public and increase awareness about these procedures and outcomes; this tool helps consumers do their homework."

Plastic surgeons are able to customize how they use the NewLookNow tool, whether to garner initial interest from prospective patients or to introduce new products/services to their existing patient base. Niccole reported promising statistics from NewLookNow's recent eight-month pilot program involving five board-certified plastic surgery practices that found up to a...

  • 42% increase in patient acquisition
  • 85% decrease in no-show rates
  • 60% increase in consult to treatment conversions

"Plastic Surgeons are delighted with their initial results," said Niccole. "Armed with our endorsement by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, we look forward to branching out nationwide with NewLookNow."

ASPS endorsed programs offer preferred pricing and special plans designed specifically for ASPS Members. Each business is required to meet a "gold standard" of quality and cost-effectiveness. ASPS endorses only one company per business service.
