ASPS Welcomes NOVADAQ as Platinum Supporter for Plastic Surgery The Meeting
The largest plastic surgery conference, this year to be held in Boston, offers attendees invaluable research and educational opportunities Oct. 16-20.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - With gratitude, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) announces the support from NOVADAQ Technologies Inc., ("NOVADAQ") the leading developer and provider of SPY fluorescence imaging solutions ("SPY" or "SPY Imaging") for use in surgery and the exclusive appointed distributor of DermACELL, Acellular Dermal Matrix ("DermACELL") for breast reconstruction, at a Platinum Level for the 84th annual scientific conference, Plastic Surgery The Meeting, taking place October 16-20 in Boston.

Plastic Surgery The Meeting is geared toward plastic surgeons, trainees and other allied health professionals interested in translating their expanding knowledge into practice, improving patient care and outcomes. The Meeting has provided generations of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons the education they need to grow all aspects of their surgical career and practice.

"We are so pleased to welcome NOVADAQ to The Meeting as a 2015 Platinum Supporter. Collaborating with such a forward-thinking and innovative company enables our members and the specialty to stay abreast of the latest technology, thus enhancing our patient care," said ASPS President Scot Glasberg. "We look forward to seeing NOVADAQ at the premier conference for aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in Boston."

The ASPS Premier Support program provides industry partners with increased visibility, additional benefits and greater recognition for their support at Plastic Surgery the Meeting. Partnering with ASPS provides unprecedented opportunities to communicate and engage with aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons from around the world.

"At least 50 of the more than 140 peer reviewed published articles feature the use of SPY Imaging during complex plastic surgery and demonstrate that it can compliment clinical judgment and assist in reducing the potential for costly post-operative complications such as tissue necrosis," said Dr. Arun Menawat, President and CEO of NOVADAQ. "Being a Platinum Supporter affords us a significant opportunity to further educate plastic surgeons on the value of SPY and DermACELL, at our evening symposia and afternoon workshop and in our exhibit booth. We anticipate a very successful meeting and a long term relationship with the ASPS and its membership."
