American Society of Plastic Surgeons Announces Support for Southern California
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) supports our members, their families and staffs, patients and communities in Southern California as they cope with the devastating effects of the wildfires in their area. Our thoughts are with all who have been displaced, experienced loss or are facing significant challenges during this difficult time. We admire the courage and dedication of all medical and emergency personnel as they continue to provide care in the face of extreme personal and professional adversity.
ASPS has been in contact with the California Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS), which encourages those interested in offering direct assistance to contribute to the American Red Cross, which is on the ground supporting Southern California residents, and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
"CSPS is here to support members in this crisis and its aftermath and work with our local and regional societies,” says CSPS Secretary Katerina Gallus, MD, FACS.
