Steven M. Pisano, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. ASPS members operate only in accredited medical facilities, adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill continuing medical education requirements in plastic surgery, including training in patient safety techniques. Meet Dr. Steven Pisano
The physicians and staff of PRMA of South Texas are dedicated to providing an environment of compassion, concern and support for each and patient who walks through our door, regardless of social or economic status, and regardless of type of insurance or lack thereof. The focus of the practice is breast reconstruction, primarily with the use of autologous tissue. The physicians of the practice have performed over 2000 DIEP flap reconstructions. We also perform SIEP, TUG, SGAP, and Latissimus flap breast reconstruction procedures.
The physicians of PRMA have extensive experience with secondary procedures for breast implant-related problems.
Each physician of the practice has a special area of interest in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Steven Pisano has an interest in and extensive experience with, rhinoplasty and secondary rhinoplasty.
In addition, Dr. Pisano has expertise in free tissue transfer head and neck reconstruction and facial reanimation.
Our reconstructive surgery philosophy is to use autologous tissue wherever possible to restore form and function to the body.

We bring to our practice excellent training from the top plastic surgery programs in the United States, including: The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston; The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; The University of Pittsburgh; and University of Wisconsin.
