Meet Dr. Johnny Chung
Dr. Johnny Chung is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Chung earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Medicine from UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical School. After serving as an Associate with a practice in New Jersey, Dr. Chung joined Aesthetic Surgery Associates in 2005.
Dr. Chung has traveled to Thailand with “Healing The Children,” where he performed surgery on young children suffering from severe burns. Dr. Chung also corrected congenital deformities on children born with cleft palates. Dr. Chung is a Clinical Professor of the Physician Assistants program with DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. He has been named one of America’s Top Physicians by the Consumer Research Council of America from 2009 to 2012 and was voted Best Cosmetic Surgeon (Readers’ Choice Award) 2009 to 2015. Dr. Chung has been an Allergan Academy certified injector training instructor from 2012 - present. He has instructed other physicians, physician assistants, and nurses on the art of Botox®, Juvederm®, Kybella®, Voluma®, Volbella®, and Vollure®.

Thank you for your question. I recommend calling your surgeon, he/she should see you regardless of the COViD status in your area. If you’re having a complication they can see you while wearing proper PPE.

Thank you for your question. The wound typically takes about 6 weeks to completely heal. If your wound has not healed in over a year, you need to be examined. If your current surgeon is unable to help you, I would recommend a second opinion. Best of luck with your recovery.
How long after a breast reduction can I have another breast surgery?

Thank you for your question. Typically you would want to wait 6-12 months before another procedure on the breast. It is important to obtain your initial operative report for your physician as they will need to know which type of reduction you had previously . I recommend consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is also a member of the Amercian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons for a consultation. Best of luck with your procedure.

Thank you for your questions. On the issue of urinary incontinence, I would recommend consulting with uro-gynecologist. They specialize in this. Part of the screening process is urodynamic testing to find the cause of the incontinence. As for the dryness, I would first start with the use of lubrication. Dryness can be multifactoral. If the lubrication fails consider seeing a gynecologist or endocrinologist. Best of luck

Thank you for your question. I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for options. Skin removal would be more ideal if you have excess skin. Liposuction will not does not tighten skin. Best of luck with your procedure.

Selecting a health care professional is a difficult task. I hope that my comments make your decision easier. For twenty five years, I worked with various doctors in the area. I knew of Dr. Chung’s stellar reputation. His professionalism and reputation made my choice easy. The office staff is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Never once was the staff too busy to answer my questions and help me make financial arrangements which included insurance and private pay options. Dr. Chung listened to my needs and wants and explained in detail the procedures. He was with me every step of the way and never wavered in his professional expertise that gave me confidence and reassurance when my post opt recovery took longer than most. Once I called the office at 7am on a Sunday. He returned my call in four minutes! In todays world, that is amazing with all the answering machines and menus that one must navigate.
