PSTM Innovation Challenge

Prior to PSTM, short form applications are requested which are reviewed by the TIDE Committee. The ones that appear promising are asked to complete a full application which are again evaluated in detail by the TIDE committee and the top-scoring applicants will be invited to participate in the live Plastic Surgery Innovation Challenge presentation at PSTM23. The final round winner will be awarded $10,000 to continue developing their innovation.

This challenge is held during every PSTM and usually is a highly attended, entertaining affair. In 2023, the Innovation Challenge will coincide with the inaugural TIDE talks which are designed similar to the well-known TED talks, with the focus on technology, innovation, disruption and entrepreneurship. We are very excited to have our own entrepreneurial ASPS members and a strategic business disruptor join us this year to share their insights and stories.
