In-Service Exam for Residents
The In-Service Exam provides Training Programs and their residents a means to review the entire scope of plastic surgery, where equal emphasis is placed on:
- Comprehensive
- Hand/Extremities
- Craniomaxillofacial
- Cosmetic/Breast
- Core Surgical Principles
Registration opens on October 9, 2024. Communications will be sent to programs at that time.
This exam is held at the Training Program's location while being proctored by staff liaisons of the program, in a secure environment. The exam is six hours in duration, and registration can be completed by the Training Programs when logged into their ASPS dashboard.
NOTE: ASPS will no longer be supporting the use of a virtual proctoring accommodation for the In-Service Exam. Beginning in March 2025, all programs are expected to conduct this exam in person at their training facilities.
