Continuing Medical Education Requirements

All active members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons must be board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and/or the Corporation Professionnelle des Médecins du Québec. Recognizing that these certifying organizations already require CME to maintain certification, ASPS eliminated its membership CME requirement in 2017. As a member benefit, ASPS tracks its members' CME credits and offers a streamlined integration with ABPS to ensure they are recorded.
