I had liposuction today on my hips, thighs, knees, calves, and ankles. I specifically asked for a noticeable thigh gap. With the compression stockings on, I do have a small thigh gap, but when I took them off briefly to go to the bathroom, my inner thighs looked the same as before—no thigh gap at all! My calves already seem a bit slimmer, but I can’t help feeling a little worried.

I had Mohs surgery on my cheek about 5 weeks ago. Now that the swelling has gone away, the scar is noticeably sunken and not smooth across the cheek. Does anyone know of a plastic surgeon that would perform fat transfer specifically for this type of sunken scar as a treatment?

"So, one thing we consider is the incision that is in front or around the ear that needs to take into account that that skin, when we move it, will grow hair. So, we tend to place the scar for a facelift incision for men right in front of the tragus, which is the little part of the ear that pokes into the ear canal. Because if you make the incision behind that part of the tragus, with men, then that skin will start to grow hair."
"We definitely see patients who do not want surgery. They're not ready for it. They're concerned about it. You know, we can educate on the safety of it, but even so. And some patients are coming in and wanting big things, but might not be the best surgical candidates or might want something as an interim measure."
"So, one recovery hack that's great for dog lovers who are having breast surgery is there are leashes that actually will go around your waist rather than being held in your arm. This is excellent, particularly for breast surgery patients because, in those early days of recovery, it's not gonna be super comfortable if you have a puppy or a dog that likes to pull when they walk."
Also known as soft tissue matrices, the internal bra is used in combination with breast surgeries, such as a breast augmentation, lift or reduction, to enhance results.
The number one reason that board certification matters for plastic surgery is patient safety. What exactly does board certification mean? Ensuring your health, safety and aesthetic results are in qualified hands means researching and understanding what various credentials really signify.
By now, we all know that Botox helps improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and filler can plump our pout and restore volume to the face. What's left to talk about? As it turns out, plenty!
