Andrew, real estate attorney and single father, underwent liposuction (chest and stomach or love-handles) and rhinoplasty procedures.

He chose an ASPS member surgeon based on “word-of-mouth from everyone I came in contact with, then a consultation. I liked that he had his own surgery center and a limited schedule of surgeries per day,” Andrew says.

“I sacrificed some of my physical makeup over the years to hard work, long hours and stress, and I wanted to buy some of that back," he says. “I get a lot of business based on looking the part of the successful attorney, too,” so the decision to undergo the cosmetic procedures came easily to him.

His take on his surgeon’s work? “I trust him so much. He’s a real artist,” Andrew says. “I also appreciate that he’s board-certified, and that his days aren’t packed with patients. He’s not into quantity over quality; I had a real good comfort level with him.”

“But keeping fit is a team effort," he continues. “He does his work, and I do mine. I work out everyday. I have a good eating-and-workout method that maximizes outcomes in a short time. You can’t go under the knife and expect it to be a cure-all.”

Have the procedures helped his business? “People all think that I’m in my early 30s,” he says. “At real estate closings, when we’re talking, I like to tell them my actual age and watch their shocked reactions.”
