National Archives of Plastic Surgery

The National Archives of Plastic Surgery is located in Boston at the Center for the History of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School's Countway Library. The National Archives of Plastic Surgery is the largest repository in the United States devoted to documenting the history of plastic surgery.

Founded in 1972, the Archives is sponsored by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
