Perception of the Injection Patient Biographies

Tia Rossana

Satellite Beach, Fla.
Pharmacy Supervisor
Patient of Roxanne Guy, MD

Tia, age 41, is an active, single woman. Thanks to genetics, she inherited facial wrinkles from her father’s side. As she explains, the scientist in her as well as the woman on the inside wanting look nice became curious about the benefits of injectable treatments. Tia turned to the plastic surgeon who performed a facelift on her mother 15 years prior – Dr. Guy – for guidance. Dr. Guy answered Tia’s questions and suggested different injectable treatments to attain her goals. She received treatments to add volume to her lips and address wrinkles in her forehead and crow’s feet. Happy with her results, she is glad she took advantage of the technology available to her. She says the best part is that no one ever knows how old she is.

Sandy Rowland

Melbourne, Fla.
Surgical Technician
Patient of Roxanne Guy, MD

Sandy, age 55, is married and the mother of three children. Last year, she decided to start treatments of botulinum toxin on her forehead and hyaluronic acid to fill her nasolabial folds (smile lines). Sandy lives a healthy lifestyle by eating right and exercising, but aging and overexposure to the sun began to take its toll on her skin. She began to look for remedies that would allow her to look as healthy and youthful as she felt. Being in the medical field, she asked physicians about injectables and saw results on patients who received injections. Everyone she quizzed had positive feedback about injectables. Sandy consulted with Dr. Guy to achieve her goal and she is happy with her results. She sees her injectable treatments as an extension of her personal health where her outside matches the inside.
